Overview
Lucy is an Accredited Family Law Specialist. Her practice covers all areas of Family Law including marital and defacto property disputes, the preparation of Binding Financial Agreements including pre-nuptial agreements and cohabitation agreements, disputes relating to children, spousal maintenance, child support and personal protection and domestic violence issues.
Expertise
Lucy has practiced exclusively in Family Law for over 30 years. She has extensive experience in litigation and is a trained mediator.
Prior to joining Saunders Family & Estate Lawyers, she was a partner of the Melbourne legal firm, Ryan Carlisle Thomas where she headed their Family Law department for over 20 years. She was a member of the Family Law Institute Committee which was instrumental in gaining Government acknowledgement and funding of Children’s Contact Centres which resulted in the establishment of centres throughout Australia where parents could spend supervised time with their children in a safe and neutral environment.
Lucy strives to provide legal advice in a form which her clients can understand so that they can make informed decisions about their future and to provide support during the often difficult process in achieving their desired outcomes.
